Waiting For Friday

Life is to short to wish for fridays. Walking into my summer job made me feel like I was in one of those stupid zombie movies, there have been like ten made in the last five years and I've hated all of them, but thats besides the point. Everyone I laid eyes on from monday morning to friday morning were zombies. One sitting at his desk, with a blank stare at the computer screen, another standing by the cafeteria in line for the usual, salad and a yogurt, clearly trying to shape up for the summer months, trying to look tight for other male zombies.
I learned more from this zombieland (that could be the next name for another crappy zombie movie, oh wait) then i did in five years of high school. Maybe one day I would be a zombie, like the ones in the car waiting in the bumper to bumper traffic. I say to myself everyday now, friday is the same as monday, and if its not, then I will join the march, the battalion, the society of zombies that live day in and day out sitting at their desk, adding to a belly, having average sex once a week if lucky, and staring off in the distance as their innocent kids smile at the stupidest crap.
Look at monday not as a day where the work week gets started and the average pay gets in, where you sit in traffic and spill coffee day in and day out! Look at monday as the start to the next week of your life, and celebrate the goods. You don't want be that ass-hole who complains about his mediocre, average life. You want to have a smile on as much as possible, because smiling is the key to happiness.
If you fit the description above, please free the world from one more negative nancy and quit, either your life or job, hopefully just the job, because the world has to many ass-holes, and no one wants to see a zombie ass-hole.
